Western Wear

You know what I love most about thrifting?

Being able to try out different styles without investing a lot of money.

Case in point, this western style wool jacket.

It’s actually Chico’s and I scored it for $6.49 at Savers.

For some reason, the photos turned out kind of funky.

Also, let’s not talk about my hair.

I do love the details of the jacket, like the buttons and the print that is

painted on it.

Is their a style out there that YOU would like to try…

Or maybe, you want me to try?

Let me know in the comments.

I’m always game for trying something new!

  1. Cute jacket!! I’m always thrilled when I come upon Chico’s brand in a thrift store and discover the item is in my size.

  2. I’m with you…it’s a great way to try out different styles and trends!! Or just save money. Can you imagine how much that jacket would be otherwise??

  3. I like the Southwest look. I had some cool stuff when I lived in Farmington in my 20’s. Wish I would have kept most of my jewelry. Darn it.

  4. I love the western look and I love that jacket! What a cool painted design and those buttons! Who gets rid of a jacket like that?!? Their loss – your gain. It’s perfect on you. And I see you’re wearing your WalMart turtleneck. I ordered two (they were out of my size in cream though) and I love them! Your necklace is gorgeous! And I think the “pulled-up” bangs look is cute. I try that every once in awhile and it looks cute when I’m looking in the bathroom mirror and funky 30 minutes later :/ Let’s see you do a Stevie Nicks look sometime (good luck finding something that Boho in the thrift shop these days). I’m dying to try an all-out Stevie Nicks Boho look…..

    1. So glad you love those turtlenecks! I have a sweater I thrifted years ago, that when I wore it I felt like Stevie Nicks. I’m headed to the $2 clothing sale at the Salvation Army today. I’ll keep my eyes open for her boho style. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜ƒ
