Scotch and Soda

No, we are not talking about alcohol today…

although I could use a drink right about now.

We are talking about Scotch and Soda the SUPER expensive, super COOL, clothing brand!

Lucky for me, they have a store here in Vegas, so their clothing ends up at the thrift.

This is actually the SECOND clothing item of theirs that I’ve scored.

The first one is this jacket I scored for $9.99 at Goodwill back at the beginning of the year.

I originally gave it to my son, but recently took it back.

Then, I scored THIS one at the Assistance League of Las Vegas just a couple of weeks ago, for $15.00.

I am over the moon!

I mean, check out the cool details.

My husband thinks it’s some kind of field/hunting jacket. There are deep pockets around the entire waistline on the inside.

It’s such a cool jacket and yes, it’s a tad too big and yes, my son wants it but NO, it’s all MINE!

I decided to style it up with some print mixing.

First up, a zebra print turtleneck from H&M ($6.99)…

that I paired with an old Premier Design necklace and a longer thrifted Chico’s necklace ($2.98) that I got ages ago from the Charleston Outlet thrift store.

Over that, I layered up a plaid blanket scarf that I cut in half, on the diagonal, to make it less bulky.

I LOVE this paring!

I am SO happy with how this whole look turned out.

Now I just need another day of temps below 50 degrees.

Come on cold weather!!

  1. I’ve never heard of that brand but now I’ll have to look for it. What a great idea to cut that scarf in half!! Brilliant!!
