Palazzo Pants

Who doesn’t love palazzo pants?

These were originally from Macy’s (INC brand) but I scored them at Goodwill for only $3.59.

I really love the pattern/colors.

Unfortunately for me, the stretchy waistband, just wouldn’t stretch enough.

Which made the fit SUPER unflattering.

Hence the reason, I keep posing with my purse in front of me.

Seems like I’m on a roll with the unflattering looks.

  1. OMG…but those are adorable. And you know me?? I’m all about fixing them to make them work (is that annoying…should I stop). Only because I’ve had to do the same thing (well, really I gave them to my mom to fix…ha ha, but she cut the elastic and sewed in a little more to make them bigger). We need to live closer….just sayin’

    1. Thanks Jodie! What I should have done was try them on before I bought them. šŸ™„ Now my options are 1. Learn how to sew or 2. Lose some weight because I’m not ready to give up on them. I really do love a palazzo pant!

    2. Jodie I was going to say the same thing. I am not a seamstress by any means but this fix isn’t too hard. Even I could do it! haha I’ve expanded several jeans even and they came out pretty good. I have a harder time taking things in and having them look right.

      1. I’ve been watching a bunch of ‘thrift flips’ on YouTube where all you need are a pair of scissors and some glue to transform a piece of clothing. Maybe I should give it a try…
