From Casual to Somewhat Dressy

I’m not one to wear more than one outfit in a day. I like to get dressed and that’s it.

But the other day, I had a dinner to attend with my MIL and those ladies like to dress up, so I HAD to change.

To make it easy on myself, I wore this blouse I scored when I shot a Savers Thrift Video with my girl, Jamie, from More Than Turquoise.

This Worthington blouse was NWT and I scored it for just $5.49.

During the day, I paired it with some shorts.

To dress it up for dinner with my MIL, I wore it with a Worthington skirt I scored for just $4.17!

Paired with my fave shoes from Adam Tucker Footwear  (that I received for free)

this cute outfit comes in at a cost of only $9.66!!

  1. ALL my daily wardrobe fits into a small closet in our den/bedroom. I change it out for seasons. I like it this way as I have to use my ‘little grey cells’ to figure out (as you just demonstrated) how to mix n’ match clothing. From my perspective I feel keeping stylish is more than knowing what looks good on you. It’s a collaboration of economics, research, and taking the time to drive around to various stores and estate sales searching through bins and racks for that perfect article of clothing!

Your outfit looks cool and perfect for your day of double-duty for the blouse!

    Hugs,
    Dee xoxo

  2. This top is great! I love the fun print and the bright yellow. I also think it looks equally lovely with the shorts and the skirt. BEAUTIFUL styling Darlene.
