Fashion Review : EVA TRENDS Look#2

*I was sent three items of clothing from Eva Trends to review. All opinions are 100% my own.*

Last week I  (along with my friend Dee) showed you how we styled this Autumn Leaves Embroidered Shirt Dress.

You can read all about it HERE.

The second item I chose to style from Eva Trends is this Ink Art Side Slit Shirt Dress.

As I mentioned before, this brand is all about the loose fit and their clothes are like a one size fits most. This shirt dress fits sizes S/M/L/XL/2XL

Unfortunately, this particular item was a tad small for my friend Dee (Size 3X) to model.

First, I styled it with a dress, using a red, white and black color scheme.

Thrifted dress and thrifted Jasmine Vintage Red Snakeskin clutch : $1.99

I love the asymmetrical  hemline.

I also really like the Ink Art on the front.

It’s like those ink blot tests you take. I know what I see when I look at this. What do YOU see?

Next, I used the same color scheme (because it’s my favorite) and tried it with another dress. Because, why not?!

For my final look , I decided to layer it over a black tank and leggings.

  1. My personal opinion is that each of the ways you modeled it over dresses would look great if you had leggings on. The last look with the leggings and the top all buttoned up was not flattering at all on you. Looked good on the picture of the manufacturer’s model (some how the top didn’t seem that big on the model) but on you it was tooooo big!!!

  2. I like Look #1, because of the pop of red. My personal opinion is the dress looks better worn open and not closed. I would imagine walking and turning as you move around gives an over-all look that is flattering and would stand out.

  3. I like the first look too because of the red but I really like the shoes! Where did you get them? (I need something to dress up my mountain chick fleece).
Also I agree with Dee, it’s a flowy piece and I bet it looks even cuter when you walk and move.

  4. The print has a cool artsy vibe but I feel like it overwhelms you Darlene. I love “big” airy casual items but this is just too big on your medium frame. Dee looks great in these styles!!
