Recently, my husband and I ย were invited to a surprise birthday party where the theme was flamingos and we were all supposed to wear pink.
I realized two things…
I have next to nothing in the color pink in my closet and flamingo themed anything is hard to find here in Vegas!

How interesting is this shirt though!
Did you notice that it’s floral AND leopard mixed together?
Here is a closer look.
The leopard is on the underside of the cuff and collar of this $4.00 (GW) Jones New York blouse.
I paired it with these olive green sandals that have been sitting in my closet all summer…
along with this white Croft and Barrow skirt $5.49 (Savers).
Guess what!
I actually own this same exact Croft and Barrow skirt ( I thrifted this one last year) in dark denim too!
Surprise!
They’re scooter skirts!

I could have let you borrow some pink…although flamingo is not something I have. But yes, I am surprised. Maybe you need to go to Florida for flamingos!!!
Love that it’s not black again!! That’s twice in a row—yipee!!

Don’t get used to it! Hahahaha I went to four different stores looking for flamingos. I should have just shopped on Amazon. They had a ton of cute flamingo items!
That is very different shirt. Looks good on you.
Perfect for the party.
Thanks Kenna! I thought it was very different too. ๐
Great printed floral top! The dark shoes totally work because of the repeat of the dark color in that shirt!! You are really rocking this color styling! Another ‘Not Black’ Victory !!!!
Lovin this. ๐ Then a couple of good neutral colors with a fun necklace & sandals outfit ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Thanks Rita! To push myself even further, next week I have a post where I posed…OUTSIDE! Lol
The watercolor print of this top is very special and the color is so pretty. The little bit of leopard is a designer touch and wonderfully unexpected! If you’ve been avoiding pink for some reason you need to stop immediately!! You look darling Darlene!
Thank you so much! I never thought about it, but you’re right…it IS a watercolor print! That must be why I liked it. Well, the touch of leopard didn’t hurt.;-)
